for labor day, i (lindsay) went to visit friends in st louis. sunday we went to the missouri botanical gardens to check out the japanese festival going on. as we were walking around, i noticed some art that looked familiar. the botanical gardens had quite a few pieces of chihuly art. i found out from my friend that there had been an exhibit there awhile ago of his art. i told her that there was a cool chandelier in columbus. it was very cool to see the glass sculptures in and around the gardens so i thought i'd share it with the amazing racers :o)
as a sidenote, as we were going through the tropical forest part, i was checking out the signs of the different plants and i found one called the helicopter damselfly. i thought it was fitting to mention it since we share the name :o)
